BCC Group is proudly executing the Early Works Package for the Absheron Full Field Development (FFD) Project, one of the most strategically important offshore natural gas developments in the Caspian region. The project represents a key milestone in Azerbaijan's expanding energy sector and will contribute significantly to the country's long-term natural gas production and export capacity.
Awarded by TotalEnergies EP Absheron B.V., the Early Works Package provides the essential civil and infrastructure works required to prepare the construction site for the future Central Processing Facility (CPF), Beach Valve Station (BVS), and associated permanent facilities. These enabling works establish the foundation for one of the country's largest upcoming energy infrastructure investments.
The scope of works includes extensive site preparation, mass excavation, engineered earthworks, structural fill placement, grading and leveling, construction of temporary and permanent access roads, stormwater drainage systems, utility corridors, temporary construction facilities, security fencing, surveying, demolition of existing structures where required, and development of critical infrastructure necessary to support the subsequent EPC phase.
The project involves the movement of hundreds of thousands of cubic metres of earthworks while maintaining strict compliance with international HSE, environmental protection, and quality management standards. Advanced construction planning, modern earthmoving equipment, and rigorous project controls are being employed to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable execution under demanding project conditions.
Through this prestigious project, BCC Group continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading EPC contractors in the Caspian region, demonstrating its capability to successfully deliver large-scale civil infrastructure projects for world-class international energy companies. The project reflects the company's commitment to engineering excellence, operational efficiency, sustainability, and uncompromising safety performance.
